30s - IRON + VITAMINS AND MINERALS

Many women in their mid-20s have plans to have children within the next 5-10 years. If you already have pregnancy on your mind, you should ideally start thinking about building up an iron store now and therefore ensure extra iron as early as possible, either through diet or through a dietary supplement.

If you already know that your iron status is low, it is, of course, even more important to get started well in advance.

In a busy and hectic everyday life with work, family, and hobbies, you can, at times, take a supplement of vitamins and minerals, possibly combined with an energy-enhancing preparation, to boost energy, especially in the dark autumn and winter months – when finding energy and vitality can be difficult.

40s - REMEMBER CALCIUM, MAGNESIUM, AND OMEGA-3

For many, the 40s are a time when you feel changes both mentally and physically. For men, the “andropause” often occurs in the early 40s, while for women, it happens between the ages of 45 and 55. If you only eat limited amounts of fish, eggs, and dairy products, it may be necessary to supplement your diet with a dietary supplement in the form of calcium tablets and magnesium, which contribute to maintaining normal bones. Omega-3 is also important if you don’t eat fish several times a week.

Calcium

A large part of our bones consists of the mineral calcium. Throughout life, bones need calcium to build, repair, and maintain bone tissue. Therefore, it’s important to get enough calcium. Adults typically need 800 mg of calcium per day. Dairy products are the main source of calcium.

Most people can meet their needs by consuming ½ liter of dairy products daily. If you don’t drink milk or consume other dairy products, it may be difficult to meet the body’s calcium needs. In this case, it might be a good idea to supplement with a dietary supplement.

Magnesium

Magnesium is an important nutrient. Magnesium contributes to normal muscle function, nerve function, and energy metabolism, as well as reducing fatigue and tiredness.

Magnesium plays a role in the cell division process and is involved in numerous processes in the body. Magnesium contributes to normal muscle function and maintaining normal bones.

Mineral Complex Magnesium from Mezina contains both magnesium citrate and magnesium bisglycinate.

Ginseng

The ginseng plant was discovered over 4000 years ago in Korea’s deep forests and has been used for centuries to help increase energy levels and performance in men.

In addition to endurance, ginseng has also been known for many years to have a positive impact on libido and potency. Ginseng has shown good results in trials regarding sexual challenges and contributes to healthy sexual relationships by promoting potency (erection), improving physical and mental capabilities, and maintaining good endurance, energy, and vitality

50s - MENOPAUSE AND CALCIUM SUPPLEMENT

Are you taking a calcium supplement? If not, you should consider whether you’re getting enough calcium either through food or through a dietary supplement. It’s important to keep your bones strong as metabolism decreases with age due to reduced muscle mass.

A magnesium supplement can also alleviate symptoms associated with restless legs – magnesium contributes to normal muscle function.

Fatty fish, avocado, nuts, and, for example, flaxseeds are full of beneficial oils and can strengthen your brain, circulation, and especially joints and muscles. If you are a woman, you may experience symptoms related to menopause – sage and red clover are known to reduce symptoms related to hot flashes and sweating during menopause. The herb Dong Quai – better known as female ginseng – has been used for generations as a popular spice and dietary supplement in the East, especially for women who have used the root to maintain overall body functions and in connection with menopause.

Regardless of age, it's always important to focus on...

60s - VITAMIN D AND JOINT MAINTENANCE

In your 60s, it’s still important to eat healthily and diversely to get all the essential vitamins and minerals that ensure an active and good life for as long as possible. Also, remember vitamin D and calcium to maintain bone tissue.

Sore and stiff joints and muscles can be challenging to live with and can make everyday life overwhelming. Particularly individuals over 60 may experience reduced mobility as age sets in and the body has become a bit worn. Ginger and turmeric are known to keep your joints and muscles supple – combine them, if needed, with vitamins and minerals such as vitamin C, chondroitin, vitamin D, copper, and manganese, all of which help maintain joints.
