ARE WE STEALING THE FISH’S FOOD?
The resources of the sea are limited and therefore vulnerable. It’s good news that you can get omega-3 fatty acids from algae, which are cultivated under controlled conditions on land, completely without affecting the marine environment and without “stealing” food from the ocean food chain.
The rapidly growing algae in AlgeOmega3 are sustainably produced in large tanks on land. This cultivation doesn’t harm the ocean ecosystems. This also means they are not contaminated by heavy metals and microplastics. The new product is thus both sustainable and 100% plant-based. You get a completely clean product without a fishy taste when you choose plant-based omega-3. Additionally, AlgeOmega3 doesn’t contain fish proteins and can therefore be consumed by those allergic to fish.
